Reverend Sherwood Barnette has spent over 40 years in full-time pastoral work, pastoring congregations in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He most recently has served as Prayer Pastor with Covenant Church of Pittsburgh. Reverend Barnette received his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary.

Reverend Barnette (more affectionately known as "Pastor Woody") has worked with Brother Andrew for over 35 years, and has done missions work in Morocco, Nigeria, Iran, and all nine Eastern European countries. He did extensive work in seven of the nine E.E. countries during the communist era, "smuggling" hundreds of Bibles to believers behind the "Iron Curtain" and teaching in an "Underground Seminary" program. (In Romania alone, over 85 per cent of the current evangelical pastors studied in this program.) Pastor Woody was in Prague in November 1989 the day the communist government resigned, and was in Berlin one week after the Berlin Wall came down. He and his wife, Sarah, spent a year in Berlin working with various intercessory teams from several nations and doing preaching and teaching in an African congregation there.

Pastor Woody helped to start two Christian schools and has been a board member on four different Christian schools. His ministry is currently focused on national and international prayer-intercession in Washington, DC; Jerusalem, Israel; and Berlin, Germany. He is also still closely involved with the church in persecuted lands, including the Eastern European pastors whom he met during the communist era.

He and his wife, Sarah, have three children and one grandchild.     John Agatston
John is a Messianic Jew and businessman. Over the last five years he has traveled to Africa where he has been teaching in the areas of Hebrew and Hebraic Roots and Biblical Principles of business. He has found himself, by God's design, in the middle of a movement across the continent of Africa (but particularly in the southern and eastern parts of Africa) of Africans connecting their freedom from both colonialism and idolatry with coming into God's order in regards to Israel, the Jewish people, and the Hebraic roots of the Christian faith. John has been used to supply many strategic resources in these areas as well as to do introductory teaching. John is also developing course material on Biblical Principles of Business (with an Hebraic Roots flavor) that he will be teaching at a major prayer conference in Uganda in January, 2004.
